PAYMENT OPTIONS & DEADLINES

PLEASE NOTE: All payments are due at THE FIRST of each month, a $50 late fee will be assessed on the third and is non-negotiable. With any method of payment, please note your child’s FIRST and LAST name, and the DATE so payment will be posted to the correct account. (Many of our students have the same first names!) Any additional fees for trail rides, shows, etc. should be paid separately from your lesson payment. We accept Venmo, cash and check made payable to Selah East Stables (and labeled appropriately).

PROGRAM POLICIES

If students are not able to attend a lesson, we ask as a courtesy that you let us know in advance. We will do everything in our power to reschedule your student’s lesson, however, given the limited capacity and high fixed costs of the riding business, missed lessons cannot be credited and can only be made up on a limited basis. This includes vacations, as your spot is being held during that time. Summer schedules and school year schedules will be different and will reflect leniency for things communicated well in advance.

Lessons may be canceled by Selah East during show weeks depending on instructors who will be available while the trainers are away at the show. If your child’s lesson falls on a show week, we do not reimburse lessons, but instead invite you to join us at the showgrounds for an additional equestrian experience and team-building day. Horse Shows are not only a fun family activity, but also offer a fabulous opportunity for your young equestrians to watch other riders, disciplines, as well as learn sportsmanship and gain confidence in their craft. At each show we will have a hospitality table for all who choose to attend. There may also be additional grooming and assisting opportunities for your rider in addition to watching and enjoying each show.
